Baggage Policy – Plane To Paradise

At Plane To Paradise, we want our travelers to be fully informed about airline baggage allowances and charges before they fly. Since baggage rules vary by airline, fare type, and destination, the details below serve as a general guide only.

1. General Baggage Information

  • Baggage allowances are determined solely by the airline at the time of ticket purchase.
  • Allowances may vary based on route, cabin class (Economy, Premium, Business, First), and fare type (Basic, Standard, Flexible).
  • Passengers should review their e-ticket or airline confirmation for the most accurate baggage details.

2. Carry-On / Cabin Baggage

  • Most airlines include one personal item (laptop bag, handbag, small backpack) at no extra cost.
  • A carry-on bag may or may not be included depending on the fare purchased. Some Basic Economy fares exclude carry-on luggage.
  • Typical cabin baggage dimensions range between 45–56 cm (length), 36–45 cm (width), and 20–25 cm (depth), with weight limits between 7–10 kg (15–22 lbs). Exact rules vary by airline.

3. Checked Baggage

  • Many low-cost or basic fares do not include checked baggage. Additional bags can be purchased online before departure.
  • Standard checked baggage weight limits are typically 23 kg (50 lbs) for Economy and 32 kg (70 lbs) for Business/First Class.
  • Oversized or overweight bags may be subject to extra airline fees.

4. Special Baggage (Sports Equipment, Instruments, etc.)

  • Airlines may allow transport of special items such as sports equipment (golf clubs, skis, surfboards) or musical instruments.
  • Some items may count toward the standard baggage allowance, while others require additional handling fees.

5. Restricted and Prohibited Items

  • Hazardous items (explosives, flammable liquids, toxic substances, etc.) are strictly prohibited in checked or carry-on bags.
  • Liquids in carry-on bags must follow the 100ml / 3-1-1 TSA rule or the applicable international security regulations.

6. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Baggage

In case of lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, passengers must report the issue directly to the airline’s baggage service counter at the airport.

Plane To Paradise may assist in providing booking documents, but airlines are solely responsible for baggage handling and compensation.

7. Important Notes

  • Baggage policies, fees, and limits are set by the airline and may change without prior notice.
  • Always check your airline's official website and your booking confirmation for the most current baggage rules.
